purchasing games in steam under 18 years of age?
Greetings to ya'll!
I'm not quite new here, i've had steam in like 2 or 3 years or so, and i was wondering, is it possible for a (soon to be) 17 year old guy purchasing a game? Because i've never done it thru steam, online. I've only bought like 2 games in stores, and that says the rest.
I was thinking of buying this new shadow of mordor game, I live in sweden, and i have this Card from a bank called Nordea which also is Visa apparently. So is there a restriction of what games i can buy? or is it even possible for me to buy a game? I'm truly sorry for the noobnesss and stupidity, but i actually have no idea how this works.

Thanks.

You can buy games on Steam no matter what age you are as long as you set your age to over 18 when a store-page asks for you DoB

Even the youngest kid could open a Steam account and buy Steam games with anonymous money cards, by simply entering birthday data for age verification and that's why you'll never ever find true adult games on Steam even if you're full adult.

You're probably older than most Steam buyers, so there should be no problem. Steam is no adult only platform.

Really, wow, alright, thank you both!

You need to be 13 or older to use Steam, and any age verifications on store pages are like PEGI - only informational (unless it works differently in Sweden).

No, Steam allows you to buy everything and the only thing that your bank will probably do is verification (calling you to authorise the purchase e.t.c)

A lot of people are saying is possible, but I just keep getting my money back and not buying the game even with a valid self account
