Should I level my profile?

Hi! I'm new and I did find the info that higher levels allow to have more friends and add more showcases as well as apparently increase the collecting cards drop rates. I'm not particularly interested in any of those, is there anything crucial that I might have missed that calls for level increasement?

If you're not interested in more friend slots, additional showcases, a higher chance of booster pack drops, or "virtual prestige," there's really no reason to level up your Steam account.
