Inventory get stolen and almost my account too
My Steam Inventory got stolen by some russian bi* from moscow. To prevent that, NEVER and when i say NEVER click on fuc*ng private messages, where someone like "richard kane" or any other person who says they are an admin, mod or any other kind of steam staff tell you to transfer your stuff to another account. And never tell them, who you are going to send it to. I learned it sadly the harsh way, and got almost my Account taken, as you can maybe see. This happened like 30 Minutes ago. I would also recommend you to only have 2-3 devices logged into steam whichh you can be sure of being your device. :steamsad:

Valve employees ("admins") will never communicate with you about your account using any chat system including Steam Chat and Discord.

Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

Steam does not return inventory items or wallet funds.

I can't see it because your profile visibility is set to private or friends only.

Keep in mind that there is a cooldown for editing your profile. Just try it again in a few hours.

You'll be able to change it again later, just wait. What's important is that you do all the steps.
Oh I see, thanks a lot! Yeah I know I set it to private so nobody can see my account things. I think i only got hacked (or rather scammed) because of the skins.
Yeah I will defined do that. Thank you!

You can just edit your post btw.

Also to the OP, I thought it was obvious not to do this.

it looked real since he had acces to my computers name and the ips in my region. i atleast learned the lesson of "not trusting anyone who writes me on steam via DM"

There are a lot of guides about this but people still get scammed, please, it's super easy to actually not get scammed or your credentials stolen.
