As someone who watched anime since the early 80s, yes it is.
Its a cool action anime and looks very nice but the plot is paperthin ( need to get stronger because reasons) and the main character has the personality and charisma of a brick.

Its still good entertainment but overall i only did give it a 7.5/10.

Also the animation is not even that good, they cut a lot of corners during the fights and hide it with tons of quick cuts and camera work but the actual animation framerate is often very low during those big fights.
Not overly impressing if you know what you are looking for.
