HELP, can't play any multiplayer game I like
I tried playing CS2 first, I was able to do training and play with bots (sometimes had some annoying lag), but I never saw more than 1 person online, which I thought was strange, but I'm sort of new to games, so thought maybe the game is just dead; I wasn't able to play with anyone, removed the game

then I tried PUBG, tried playing, got stuck on the loading screen for the game, I think it was for training mode (waited like 5 minutes) then it gave me a connection error or something like that; I tried loading a game multiple times with the same result; removed that game

then I tried Will to Live Online, in the log in/startup section it was giving me a connection error, hard to remember what it said; I removed that game

I then tried STRAFTAT; that was finally something that worked, I was able to play with some people and finally had some fun, but I was getting frequent lag and the game has crappy maps and the characters look weird; I decided to keep this one though

looking for more free games, I saw Crossout, tried it, could not play an online session; after ~10 seconds of searching for a session, the online game and training buttons get grayed out, and a prompt appears saying "Disconnected from game session. Failed to connect to game session"; those are the exact words, and it asks me if I want to do a network test or press OK; network test seems to take forever and I don't understand how that works; I can sometimes enter a training session, but my guns are locked, I can't shoot them, and the bots are stationary (not sure if that's normal); I also get lag in that

I can't play what I want; I tried random things like cleaning up my PC with CCleaner, checking for malware with AVG, Avast, uninstalling AVG and Avast and CCleaner, installing Cloudflare Warp because one guy recommended getting it so that PUBG would work; I did that and regret it because it seems to be using up some of my GPU, always running, and I can't uninstall it no matter what; AVG can't even shred it, it's "write-protected", I don't even know what it's supposed to do, I just got WARP out of desperation

restarted my laptop multiple times also

as for internet connection, my download speed is 455.10 Mbps and upload is 243 Mbps; I can use Google, Youtube everything besides the video games with no problems at all

is it my graphics? people have told me I have very bad graphics (Iris x, Asus laptop, 11th gen intel i7 processor), out of my 16gb of RAM, only about 6-8 can be used on a game, because the other half is being used up by apps running in the background

sorry if I sound all over the place and I'm saying things that don't make sense, I really don't know much about what I need to do, or what's the problem, and I have no more ideas left

until then, back to STRAFTAT :steambored:

*until I get answers
hah, funny, now STRAFTAT is freezing, I'm being exited out of the matches without my permission; it's unplayable
update: I checked MyASUS, and I saw that my laptop was running on whisper mode (fans not really being used), meaning I wasn't having the full potential; I also saw that I had a driver that needed to be updated; I also was able to free up some of my memory usage in MyASUS; I'm able to play STRAFTAT better than ever, will now test Crossout.
Crossout is smoother, no lag in practice mode (but still can't shoot guns, they seem to be locked), but with online matchmaking, I get the same error as before, after about 15 seconds of loading: "Disconnected from game session. Failed to connect to game session"
OKAY, I randomly decided to try a VPN, I auto-connected the VPN (location in the US), and now I can play Crossout!!! what happened?! why VPN??? I think I'll try out CS2 again tomorrow to see if that works now
all the games work now
