Is Titanfall 2 Still Active?

Titanfall 2 is available on deep discounts atm but I want too know if the game servers are even still active before I buy it. It's cheap yes but whats the point of spending even $3.00 just too sit in lobbies waiting for the player list too fill. <I know this was at least the case on xbox back before I switched too PC
