Suggestions for online gaming
Hi there. So I am in a bit of weird situation. My wife and I both have chronic illnesses. She is usually upstairs in bed and I am usually downstairs watching movies or playing video games. I am 54 but because I am disabled with a chronic illness I would like to try some online games. At least I think I would. My reflexes are not what they used to be and I have a fairly basic gaming computer so I am a little intimidated and quite anxious about that.

It is all very hard on me because I used to be really good at just about everything I tried. Now I struggle with just about everything.

I had to move to a small town where I could afford to buy a house and it is kind of a retirement community and about an hour away from a city. I like older people but they all seem to be busy with their family and their own lives.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what forums I could join or what games I could start with where I won't annoy the hell out of people playing?

My gaming setup won't play any of the new open world games. I really enjoy those guys on YouTube that dress up and role play the video games they actually play. They are hilarious and the games look like something I might be interested in.

Thanks in advance.

it all depends on your personal preference mate, i personally am mostly interested in survival games, maybe search the multiplayer survival games in the store section?

since the competitive games like cs2 and dota are either hard or have a toxic community, or both 😀
old game are the best like command and conquer series there not expensive and wont brake your bank and you can play them on a potato pc that's if you like RTS games and city skylines really it depends on your preference :steamhappy:
Palia is not bad, it's also free to play so trying it out is not risky.
Well, what do you like? Shooting games, exploring, role playing games, action?

It's hard to find a pleasant online community these days. I'll think more on this and update my answer if I find one that might fit you.

Stumble Guys, Destiny 2, Sims 4, and Brawlhalla are all free online multi-player games of different genres, and should run fine on your set up.

As far as forums go, Steam doesn't have the best, but there is a game recommendation mega thread that I follow that could be helpful for you.

I would suggest buying a nintendo switch for family friendly games
What genres of games do you like to play? :GreenPuyo::REDPUY0::PURPLEPUYO::BLUEPUYO::YellowPuyo:
Stick to single player games, honestly. Any multiplayer can be pretty toxic with new, unexperienced players.
