2 hour Gamplay Limit for Refund

This is no longer a viable or fair restriction. I just downloaded Aliens Dark Descent. The intro alone is at least 2 hours long So when I actually got to PLAY the game, that's when I realized that this game's mechanics are not fun for me at all and I can't even get a refund because of your stupid 2 hour restriction. Due to the change in game design these days where the intros are so long, I think it would only be fair to your consumers to extend the restriction before asking for a refund.

You know that you can skip intro; play a bit and decide if game is for you or not?
If it is for you - restart game and enjoy intro; if not refund.

i call BS on your story. No intro is two hours. The intro for the game is about 5 to 6 minutes what i watched on youtube, will all the videos maybe 10 minutes max. so you played the game.

Played less then 2 hours and owned less then 2 weeks/14 days is over enough

You agree to the refund limits every time you go to checkout, tick the Steam Subscriber box and click confirm. Note: You can ask for a manual refund by clicking on the game and choosing "I have a question about this purchase" but the refund is discretionary not mandatory and is the final answer.

Secondly the intro to the game is about 10 minutes long then you are on the planet.

And finally you can set a timer on your mobile or via Steam Overlay to not go over 2 hours.


Refund policies - Take your pick. Note: (***) same refund policy.

(1) (***) Steam - Within two weeks of purchase and with less than two hours of playtime.

(2) (***)Epic - Games and products are eligible for refund within 14 days of purchase. However, you must have less than 2 hours of runtime on record.

(3) (***) Ubisoft (UPDATED) - You can request a refund for a digital PC game within 14 days of your purchase, as long as the game has not been played for more than two hours.

Previously it was: (You can request a refund for a digital order within 14 days of your purchase, as long as the content has not been launched).

(4) EA Play - Whichever comes first.

a) Within 24 hours after you first launch the game.

b) Within 14 days from the day you bought it, if you have not launched the game.

c) Within 14 days from the release date if you pre-ordered the game, if you haven't launched it yet.

(5) Blizzard - The game is newly purchased within the last 3 days. You haven't started the game; if the game has been played at all it won't qualify for a refund.

(6) GOG - starting now, you can get a full refund up to 30 days after purchasing a product, even if you downloaded, launched, and played it. That's it. #

Also, please don't take advantage of our trust by asking for an unreasonable amount of games to be refunded. Don't be that person. No one likes that person.

For now. I'm waiting for new sales events with different cute animal emoticons. But cats are my favorite though.
