My official wired xbox p360 pad has arrived and works a treat !
Didnt need to install a thing, ju st plugged them straight in and within less than a minute i was playing a very laggy game of cod !
Not sure why you'd want to play CoD with a controller, though. Consider using a mousemat with a wrist rest.
And i do mean terrible lol
Im 10th prestige on xbox one with a K/D of around 1.8 i think. . . plus every single game i play on my laptop now lags . . . Looking down a thermal scope is nigh on impossible !
Maybe i dont have it set up right for my system but im new to all this and dont know what i m doing :)
This is highly recommended and it might solve your lag problem.
If im correct you do need to go in to settings and confirm that you are using a controller.
And from my understanding you have tried to play cod on your laptop before, with kb and mouse but when you used the controller it started lagging after first use?
If so doing the driver update and confirming controller use in the settings menu should do the trick. ps a 1.8 k/d ratio is very good i believe im at 0.85 or something like that, but since we got glassfiber internet at home (100mb/s up and down)i did notice an improvement in my k/d ratio.
It's a wired 360 controller and doesnt need anything just plug and play
My best run on a game of ghosts ( With photographic evidence ) is Hardcore domination on containment with a finishing score of 61 kills and 1 death :D
Hi Odis !
Im keeping my PS4 for the last of us which is out June. Really excited to play that game, looks amazing ! My XB1 is staying as i do have a lot of friends on there that i play with regular on cod.
This laptop i have now though is really nice, not the best out there but not too shabby :)
The thing you should/could have done instead is lowering the quality to medium or low, the game should perform just as good as it is now. But like i've said before if you post your laptop specs i could advice you better on your settings. btw 61 kills and 1 death is insane, are you mlg or something?
My system is this . . .

Only had it just over a week but im really impressed with the quality for the money. I was going to buy an alienware 17 but the delivery date was the best part of a month ( estimated ) and im an impatient sod so this was my second choice and im really happy ! Plus im about £600 better off !!!
As for my 61-1, no im far from mlg, im just a camping git with a M27-IAR, thermal scope, blind eye, incog, blast shield and I.E.D's with a dash of smoke thrown in to cover my route :)
Your laptop indeed has a 1920x1080p screen resolution so my guess was right.
The only thing that is not really good about it is the grapics card, it is an gtx765m.
It isn't bad for a laptop gpu but it is nowhere near a full gtx 760. I'm running a gt555m so i cant even play the game. (just for comparison) Your cpu and ram are really good actually, those won't be a bottleneck for atleast the next 2-3 years.

This link shows you in percentages how good or bad your hardware is for cod ghosts.
With the little system requirement bar you can select minimum, adjusted and recommended.
If you set it a minimum you'll see a 102% score for the gpu. (at 1280x1080p resolution)
So playing at 1920x1080p with low or medium settings should be fine.
Altough there are people even saying online that it should run on high or even ultra settings.
Another thing you should check are your AA settings, i don't know if this is enabled from stock.
FXAA isn't really demanding, but it kinda makes your vision slighly blurred.
MSAA is really demanding, so going higher than 2 is not recommended.
Plus if i were you i would update the gpu driver, if there is a newer version available.

The guy in this video has almost the exact same specs as your laptop, but he has 24gb ram and an 250gb evo ssd as upgrades. He runs the game at high settings with 4xMSAA at at 40-50 fps average. But the ssd does make a difference and he is using Nvidia Driver Version 334.89. So check your drivers and update them, it could make a difference.
Personally i would rather have slightly lower graphics quality and maintain at least an 60 fps average rather than getting higher quality and play at 40 fps. But your preferences might vary of course. I hope this explanation was clear enough, once again have fun!!
Thats a whole load of words and numbers i dont understand lol :)
Thankyou for taking the time to help im just a bit dim when it comes to anything pc related other than browsing....
