Question about fastest way to uninstall steam+All games.
Hi guys, I'm about to change computers in a few days. I want to know what the fastest way to uninstall steam and all the games is at once?

If I uninstall steam will it uninstall all the games at once as well? I'm giving my old computer to another family member, and the hard drive is only 500 gigs (most of which is full thanks to steam) so I need to give them as much space as possible so I am uninstalling everything.

So again, will uninstalling steam uninstall all the games at once as well?

Yes, uninstalling steam will remove games stored in the steam folder.

If you wish to transfer steam to a new PC:

Thanks, I'd rather redownload individual games though

I dont think steam uninstalls your games....
As far as Im aware, you would go into library and select each game in turn, right click and delete local content, then uninstall steam.

I guess uninstalling them would be the cleanest way, but not the fastest.

Steam should uninstall games when the 'steam client' is uninstalled, from what I remember it did for me, and most games hosted on steam dont run without the client being open.

Yes, this is in fact works. Steam remowed all my games in the steam folder. It however forgot to delete the install location on a different drive.
