Looking for a Rocket League Steam Key?

My little brother plays rocket league on his Xbox. I've never been tempted with the game personally but have hopped in a few games with him.

I don't live at home anymore and he wants to play it but I point blank refuse to download Epic Games launcher. I refuse to support a platform that tries to make games exclusive to their platform. Its a practice I cant get behind putting them in a terrible launcher like Epic..

I was wondering if anyone has a key for it? I have tried to install on steam but it doesn't give me the option to download or pay. So I'm a bit stuck on what to do. If anyone could help me out it would be awesome. Never done cross platform before and with my little brother would be pretty cool :)

Epic owns Rocket League. so it does not matter if you buy a key or buy it from Epic, Epic still gets the money

There are no more Steam keys. Epic deactivated all unused keys.

Game gifts may still be around but you'll probably have to pay a huge premium to get one.

Sadly steam keys for rocket league are expensive now since they moved the game to the epic games store in 2019 from what I have seen it now costs $300 to get one now so it’s not worth getting it on steam so you either have to play the Epic games version or console ports.

i wish i had gotten it on my kids pc when i could of. because epic could have the whole steam library for free and i still would not use there launcher, if they left it on steam my kid would be playing it lol also family sharing on steam sucks lol

You need Epic either way. The Steam version was updated for the Epic game services so that they can play with the Free to Play users.

Epic Games bought the developer company. Of course they wanted to promote their platform by making it an exclusive title.

As far as I know, as long as you don't buy anything, I don't believe epic makes any money off of you downloading the store and rocket league (it's free). When you download the store, turn off all notifications and autostart up, and it'll be almost non-existent.
