How to change Steam install location?
I'm trying to change Steam games installation location to a folder on the C: drive. However, following the instruction here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/4BD4-4528-6B2E-8327 does not work. A folder called "steamapps" gets created in my chosen directory, however, when I try to install a game, the only choice I get is "install on C: drive". Which, if I proceed with the installation, installs the game in the default location, i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps. Is this a bug or am I doing this wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

click on setting:- storage :- add what drives you have there for your installed games

Menu > Steam > Settings > Storage

Use the right arrow above your drive list until you see the plus symbol +

Click on it and you will see C as the default drive. Clicking on "add" will create a default Steam Library folder on C drive.

If you want another drive click on C drive and you will see the option to choose a different drive and create a default Steam Library folder or "Let me choose another location" and point at the folder you have already created on another drive.
