View a guide in the steam overlay *Badge* | Steam Deck specific
I have tried viewing a guide in the steam overlay on my steam deck, but have been unable to get this badge. I have tried the following.

  • Viewing the guide while in game, and rating the guide
  • Viewing the guide while in desktop mode, and rating the guide
  • Viewing a guide while in game, rating, and adding to favorites

After each attempt, I have saved the game and exited the game. I have also tried rebooting after all of this, but the badge is still not popping up.

Can anyone with a steam deck help me get this badge?

It is bugged in SteamOS.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I found a workaround and was able to get the badge!

To be honest it wasn't really a work around. I ended up installing Steam OS to my macbook, and downloaded a free game. Opened up a guide while in the game and the badge popped up right away.

I think the badge may be bugged if you are trying to earn it through your steam deck.
