Having said that, why does having adult themed content turned on mean that I have to come across games like Mad Island? It's not just a "grey area", I don't care what anyone's argument is about fetishes. Graphic rape and torture of anyone is a horrific subject that has no right to any kind of entertainment value. Are we really so desensitized as a society that pure evil is so casually marketed to us? If you get off on games where you as the player are sexually assaulting and killing women in extremely graphic ways, you're sick. Take it or leave it but that's my opinion of you.
This is the kind of stuff serial killers have been given the death penalty for carrying out against human beings. Does anyone think that they just one day decide out of nowhere to start doing horrible things to women, or do they perhaps entertain the idea of it for a long time? Yet here it is, being advertised as entertainment on a popular gaming platform simply because I have adult content enabled. I guess the only thing we can do about it is report it. I'm half tempted to just keep adult content off the majority of the time, instead of having to double check tags on everything to make sure I'm not about to come across something that I really don't want to see. There, end rant. FYI the game's page is still up.
I mean how far do you tow the line? The problem with your argument is that yeah, some forms of violence ARE worse than others. There are violent crimes that can get you 10 years in prison. Then there are violent crimes that can get you executed. There IS a huge difference.
