Steam user in South Africa looking for a way to purchase games in Steam
Hi, I am new to Steam (Well the account is quite old now, couldn't get a decent internet connection for my main pc until now) and I am currently in South Africa. Since majority of the games for sale here is in USD, is there anyway I can add to my Steam Wallet to make purchases here in South Africa. Google gave me next to nothing, so any help will be appriciated.

I have a debit card but no credit card, would it just bill my account as usual?

When you attempt to purchase something, it will give you your payment options. Though you may be charged USD your bank/payment provider will charge you your local equivalent. They may charge you a small conversion fee though.

When I try to purchase something under payment methods I do not see the option for debit card, so what should I do?

They are processed the same way as credit cards. So if you have a VISA credit or debit card they will both be processed in the same manner.
