Thanks but that doesn't answer the question.

You can only stream games to your tablet.
This is only possible if you have a very good pc or laptop or if you stream through a service like Geforce Now
Did you expect to run the game natively on your tablet ? (lol)

Yes, I expected to run the game on my tablet. It doesn't seem to have any issues playing any other games natively. Not sure why that sounds so absurd. Anyway... Thanks for the answers.

Thats because steam is a pc gaming platform and it only offers games that can be played on a pc.
If you want to play destiny 2 on your tablet go download the geforce now app you can stream the game from very powerful pcs owned by nvidia

PC's are use x86 based CPU's. Android devices use ARM based CPUs. They're not instruction compatible. That means a program compiled for x86 won't run on ARM or vice-versa. You'd have to compile the program for each CPU architecture you want to support. Developers are free to do that and release games on the respective stores for each platform (PC, Android, iOS). But Valve doesn't sell Android software on Steam... so of course it won't work. Maybe if x86/ARM hybrid CPU's become popular in mobile devices that will change. But for now, wheeee!

Unless the Jackbox developer gives you a copy for Android you'd have to buy it again. This is pretty standard that game licenses aren't usable across multiple platforms. But this is a developer/publisher issue and not a store issue. And certain scenarios it's always going to be a no-go. IE If you bought the Witcher 3 on PC you're not owed a license on Xbox, PS4, and Switch. And that's true with any combination of purchase there.

IOS has a specific app to play steam games called Steam Link, which requires an established connection from a mobile device to a computer (in this case, your laptop). This means you need your laptop to stay on at all times, with a stable connection between that and your mobile device...

You'd need a pretty good computer because you'll be sending commands to the computer as it streams the game to your tablet. Ping is also an issue; the distance from tablet to laptop or even the use of a wireless connection will greatly reduce the quality of your gaming experience.

Since it's Jackbox which you want to play, you could get away with it pretty easy but this is the only method i can think of and it's dependent on many different factors. i don't even know if Steam link is available for Android...
