Family Sharing Changes???
I linked my Steam account with a family member years ago, we built a library by taking turns buying #1, #2, #3... in our various games. New 'Family Sharing' revoked the previous game-sharing, no longer allows us to link our accounts, and has now left both of us with incomplete, piecemeal game libraries. I'm wildly upset at this new change, especially considering that [even if we did get this working,] we couldn't play games at the same time with the new settings [even *different* games]. This has been one of the most negative experiences I've ever had in my gaming career, and I'm considering abandoning this platform entirely, if I have to accept that half of our games are just gone, and "this is how it is now".

One of you needs to set up a steam family group and add the other so you can share again. But do note with the new steam families you both need to be in the same store region.

Here is the F&Q's on the new steam familes and how to set it up

The steam family group *is* what's going wrong. The new Family was already created, invite[s] were sent, but the recipients of the invites were denied, apparently because we're not at the same address.

I'm also upset because previously, we were able to play different games at the same time. Even if this new Family goes through, the FAQs state that two people can't play simultaneously, *even different games*. That's not familial at all, and that needs to be changed.

They need the same store country.

Steam Families can now play different games at the same time, which is the biggest change from the last Sharing, which was 1 whole library at a time.
