What games are to safe to play?!

Hi hello. I’m new to pc gaming. I was recently playing need for speed most wanted (2012) online and there were modders or hackers. Whatever they’re technically called. As soon as the race would start two of them would automatically win the race one coming in 1st and the other in 2nd. Time goes by and all of a sudden my pc freezes. I had to shut of my pc and turn it back on. Would there be a wide game list containing all of the games that’s not safe to play on pc? I’ve looked on to this all I could find were outdated listing of only 10 games

Best to play single player if you don't want those interactions, or even, just try out a few multiplayer games and see how it will fit to your taste. Depending on the popularity of the game, you will encounter cheaters and hackers.
