GTA 5 Modding Issues - New Player

I'm a new player top Gta V and have been watching all of the tutorials for installing mods in GTA V (for story mode use). Every time i start the game it comes up with a error message stating that the version isn't supported. My game is on version 1.0.3351.0 and both Script-hook mods and menyoo mod are all supported by that version. The only difference i can find is that when i go into the games directory i cannot see anything named Gta5.exe ... In my directory it only comes up with GTA5 & GTA5_BE

I do also have OPENIV and also have battleye unticked in the games launcher.

I am running the game through Rockstar Launcher.

If anyone can assist or offer advice id appreciate it.

are you mac or linux? (if you use an nootebook) maybe can be windows update too, if your PC/notebook don't has the windows 10/11 it maybe don't work.

The 'GTA5' & 'GTA5_BE' files in your directory are both supposed to be .exe files...

I'm assuming that you haven't configured your File Explorer in Windows 11 to show file extension types. I'd recommend that you try that, Then return to the GTA V directory.

You should also double check that ScripthookV is updated to the correct version for the game. ScripthookV is known to require updates with each Grand Theft Auto V update.
