Hello,

For those who are new to Steam and wonder what the gems are for, they are simply the virtual currency of Steam, which you get by destroying a card or an item that you have in duplicate in your inventory, instead of selling it
on the market.


When you unlock/own a card or item, you have two choices:

- You can sell that card or item to another player for real money.
- Or you can destroy it and convert it into gems.


The gems will allow you to buy booster packs (cards), items and skins for other games (CS:GO, Team Forteress, etc).

These boosters packs will randomly unlock cards, which can be traded, sold or used to unlock badges to raise the level
of your profile on Steam.

It is having obtained all the cards of a pack, that we can unlock a badge that will give you XP, that you can display on your profile
and which will give you new items (a wallpaper, an emote of the game in question) which can also be put on the market.


ADVANTAGES WHEN YOU LEVEL UP ON STEAM :

- You'll get more spots for your friends list.
- You will unlock showcases to display your different acquisitions/creations (badge collections, rare achievements, screenshots) for
aesthetics and customize your profile to your liking.


If you decide to buy cards directly with real money on the market.

They will cost you a few cents, depending on rarity and trend, some packs on the market can reach a few euros.

Pour ceux qui seraient nouveaux sur Steam et se demanderait à quoi servent les gemmes, c'est tout simplement sont la monnaie virtuelle de Steam, que l'on obtient en détruisant une carte ou un item que l'on possède en double dans son inventaire, au lieu de la/le vendre
sur le marché.


Quand vous débloquer/posséder une carte ou un item, deux choix s'offrent à vous :

- Vous pouvez vendre cette carte ou cet item à un autre joueur en échange d'argent réel.
- Ou vous décidez de la détruire pour la convertir en gemmes.


Les gemmes vous permettront d'acheter des boosters packs (cartes), des items et skins pour d'autres jeux (CS:GO, Team Forteress, etc).

Ces boosters packs débloqueront aléatoirement des cartes, qui pourront être échangées, vendues ou servir à débloquer des badges afin de monter le niveau
de votre profil sur Steam.

C'est ayant obtenu toutes les cartes d'un pack, que l'on peut débloquer un badge qui vous donnera de l'XP, que vous pourrez afficher sur notre profil
et qui vous délivrera de nouveaux items (un fond d'écran, un emote du jeu en question) qui pourront également être mis sur le marché.


LES AVANTAGES QUAND VOUS MONTEZ EN NIVEAU SUR STEAM :

- Vous aurez + de places pour votre liste d'amis.
- Vous débloquerez des vitrines afin d'afficher vos différentes acquisitions/créations (collections de badges, succès rares, captures d'écran) pour
l'esthétique et ainsi personnaliser votre profil à votre guise.


Si vous décidez d'acheter directement une/des cartes avec de l'argent réel sur le marché.

Elles vous coûteront quelques centimes, selon la rareté et la tendance, certains packs sur le marché peuvent atteindre quelques euros.
