how do i stream from pc to steam deck and be able to see the screen on steam deck

When I start the game from the steam deck my pc upstairs start the game but the screen comes on upstairs, but the steam deck goes from starting it to stream to steam deck, but I don't get the screen on my steam deck. The screen goes black with a circling blue spinning icon in the lower right corner. Its like it wants to but it always goes to the icon in the lower right corner. How do i fix that so i can see the screen on the oled steam deck from the pc upstairs
