Can Anyone please tell me does Steam give free weekend games every week ?

I was curious and wanted to know if steam gives free games for weekend every week or it happens once a month or something. Thanks !

Free weekends are setup by the game's devs/publisher not Steam/Valve. There is no set time frame on how often it happens. It pretty much happens when there's a dev/publisher that feels like doing one.
