not wise. beavers eat wood so you might be cause more trouble for yourself ok?

That is true, but if i keep some wood at home maybe he can eat it. Is wood expensive?

Regarding your question on price of wood, difficult to answer. that you have to find out by your hardware stores, as they will give you more or less prices. and of course less processed the timber is, the better. (in other words the tree mustn't be cut into planks or treated or anything)

This makes sense, the wood till be bad for the pet beaver if it's treated i guess. But what if my beaver gets sick? Then they will take him away when i get to the veterinarian probably no?

You would have to have the experience to know to keep a pet beaver the care and need of the animal. You would have to see if they are even allowed. You also have to speak to a Conservation Officer. They are wild animals and require alot of work

Money talks, yes but to own those animals as a pet you need to get an exotic pet license and have regular inspections to ensure the animal is being properly cared for.

Beavers don't just eat wood.

Wikipedia says the following about their diet:

Beavers have an herbivorous and a generalist diet. During the spring and summer, they mainly feed on herbaceous plant material such as leaves, roots, herbs, ferns, grasses, sedges, water lilies, water shields, rushes, and cattails. During the fall and winter, they eat more bark and cambium of woody plants; tree and shrub species consumed include aspen, birch, oak, dogwood, willow and alder.
