Steam Unavailable

New to Steam. I purchased a game from Steam a couple months ago but never got Steam working. Very frustrating. Now I have purchased a physical disc for a game from 2009 so that I can run it on my W7 machine, in hopes of having no interference from 'clients' like Steam. However, the game will not install without Steam and Steam doesn't work. I keep getting an error message that says 'Steam is temporarily unavailable, please try later'. My internet connection works fine for all other applications. Does any one know if there is anything I can do in order to enjoy my purchases? Being able to avoid the unnecessary interference from Steam would be great. Thanks!

It's not possible to get your card charged and not receive the game on Steam. Try to contact steam support.

I can try to contact steam support, but I do not see where to do so. Is there a link to leave a message somewhere?

i have purchased games in steam and it is more then 5 usd but it is only showing i have spent 3.8 usd in my history is has been a month and has not been updated can some one help.

You send a Ticket.
There should be a link somewhere in the FAQ section.
