Wow perfect got scammed with Bitskins all my saved money is gone PLEASE HELP

so basically i was on a dc server and a guy told me to buy with my knife on bitskins tf2 items wich i did and i received, but after that he told me to put the items on sell for the site to see the discount prices and after that a bot from skinbit msg with the trade offer and the guy blocked me and the items are on the site anymore PLEASE HELP ME OUT all my saved up money is gone im litterly crying right now. May god protect yall from thieves like this

I wouldn’t risk crosstrading unless ik the person for long and we done multiple crosstrades (smaller ones ofc) and we know eachother for a looooong time.

well im not making it up im kinda sick of this ♥♥♥♥ rn my whole money went away i got full proof from the steam trade and screenshots if that would help me somehow with the steam support like all that money i saved it up.

sorry this happened, partner.

the thing to remember is

nobody capable of hacking steam is going to waste it messing with your account

they will get in, scrape the site of all the truly useful, money making info and leave as quietly as they can and sell it

what happened to you was more than likely phishing. somewhere along the lines

people either log into one of these sites that offer free stuff or trading

log into a page thinking it is a steam page, usually by clicking a link from a shady source

they gave their info to someone they thought was steam because of a scam

it is that or you had/have some kind of virus on your system. this is much less likely as phishing is the number one way that people are stealing accounts these days


make sure to do all of these


DO NOT TRADE
many scams try and scare you into trading your items and they get hijacked

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/

2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

3. Change passwords from a trusted/clean computer.

4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage

5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

Steam does not restore items for any reason. All 3rd party sites are use at your own risk and they will provide no support if something happens.
