A game was gifted to me from a stranger ?!

I received a notification that a game was gifted. I dont know the account and i would accept except that the account looks weird.

I really need advice, if i should accept or decline and what consequences it might have. It may be a bot accoun and im afraid that i geting banned or whatever if i accept the gift.

I really dont know what to do.

accepting a gift wont risk your account. the worst that happens is they try to do a chargeback and that will only cause the game to be revoked from your account, nothing more

its possible the person sending the gift selected the wrong account to send it to

Keep in mind that sometimes the person who sent you the gift may have sent it to you by accident, maybe they were supposed to send it to another person but got the names mixed up.

Fair enough, but.... they said Russia wouldn't invade Ukraine, China supposedly didn't create the covid virus & Mary was still a virgin before she got married! (a old saying from times past)......

I certainly would not open my door to ANY strangers bearing free gifts.

Thank you, but i dont see how this could be a scam. My Account is secured and i didnt gave any information, to third parties. The Gift came from a stranger and i accepted it. I didnt hear anything from that person anymore.
