(WILL AWARD FOR USEFUL HELP!) GTA IV can't sign into Social Club

[OBLIVION]

When I tried playing GTA IV on my steam deck, it gave me a strange error. "You are not currently signed in" Clicking yes takes me to a page asking if I want to sign in. When i click yes, it says "Signed Out" and my only option is to quit game. The game plays without the error when I launch it in desktop mode, but I would prefer to play and launch without having to go into desktop mode. I would really like help, and any help would be appreciated

Report this issue to steam and then wait for a new update for the OS to fix it

IT is better to ask on the GTA game forum since you will more likely find others that have had this problem. If I would hazard a guess, the service does not like the Linux OS, so you will have to find a workaround on the OS level.

GTA IV is a problematic game that doesn't work properly even in PC's, certain missions require you to limit the fps to 30 and this can't be done ingame, you need external tools. Honestly, trying to run it on the Deck will just give you a headache, I guess.
