Beta Tab?
Sorry to ask but being a noob I was told there was a Beta Tab? Where might I find it.

Open the Steam client, and on the top left click Steam > Settings.

From this window, go to "Account" and in the middle is "Beta Participation". From this you can activate the steam client beta.

A similiar action can be preformed for games in your library, by right clicking a game in your library, go to properties and to the "Beta" tab.
