I had PSO2 for a long time, as i was running out of space i decided to transfer my steams onto my 1TB hard drive , Tomb Raider transffered without any error, but for pso2 nothing got transferred it says 0 kb files in the SteamLibrary folder

now why am I suppose to redownload 83 GB game again, I swear it said all files moved successfully, I am literally about to cry, this download took me weeks because of slow connection here

yes I did , the game tomb raider got transferred just fine, but pso2 didn't

well it wasn't just the speed, i would pause the download, then resume, pause and even sometimes forget and overall it took me a week, I just downloaded the new genesis update of 36 gb in 2 to 3 hrs

I did use this and even successfully transferred one game before I tried doing pso2

some games are connected with a second cache folder like rockstar games and it will be safed there ?

I followed the procedure, changed installation folder, it said files moved successfully , I tried opening pso2 again and it says downloading 0% out of 84 gbs , i checked hard drive and there was a pso 2 folder with files worth size 0 kb, i did not cancel or interfer the procress and the hard drive has enough storage of more than 500 gb, i tried tomb raider and it worked

I found nothing related to pso 2 on my laptop, also the game isn't redownloading and is stuck on reallocating files and the download stops

Did you move it(the game folder) from backup location or did you copy it over?
There was also an .acf file that has numbers.

I used the change file installation location feature i do not know what happened I am not good with that stuff, but i did not manually transfer any files myself
