how to install my games on a new computer please.

i need help to install some of the games i have purchased over the years on my new computer many from gamersgate and direct from steam purchases

You should only need to install steam goto your library and download the selected games you wish. alternatively you can simply use the drive from the old computer or copy the files from it to the new one in the proper directory as well.

i have installed steam, i can bring up my 130 games. but when i try and click on each game to install nothing happens, the cursor does not change. i have gone into the spot below my name to games. that brings up all my games i own. if anyone can advise if i am in the wrong area to install thanks terry

Under library on the left side list in the window click the game you want to install and it should open a larger display of it in the main middle window, then the install button should be on the top left of the window, not the very top left but just under the games picture and name.

Or try right clicking the game and selecting install.
