How do I let the shop recommend me games similar to the liked ones?

I just played XCOM 2 for a while. When I started Steam one day, it recommended me Xenonauts, what is a great game.

How can I activate that help of Steam to recommend me similar games?

It is already doing that for you. It recommends what you play.

Yes, but where can I find the recommendation? Where in the Shop do I need to go to see, what Steam wants me to recommend?

The "FEATURED & RECOMMENDED" section on the main store page will have some.

2 sections down is "STEAM LABS RECOMMENDATIONS - OUR LEARNING MACHINE THINKS YOU'LL ENJOY" which lists more

2 sections below that is "YOUR DISCOVERY QUEUE" which has more.

Keep scrolling until you reach this message "Keep scrolling for more recommendations" and below will be more.

the more games you buy and add to wish list the more it will reccomend to you
