I hate this random items, chance to get something good, BS". Some countries have banned this as it's similar to gambling.
I'd rather a game with a reasonably priced subscription if, and only if, the content is sufficient to warrant my paying monthly. Otherwise the game should be priced appropriately. I don't mind DLCs when the devs have put work in and provided content, that's fair. I don't like DLCs when the game is a shell and the entire content is just DLCs, it's a way to sell a game for more than it's worth. I loathe micro transactions, this is just plain extortion if it provides in game advantages. That's the true pay to win.
