Why is life so depressing?

Decades ago I adopted a kid with my wife. That kid transcended into an adult gamer that doesn't exercise all day, has bent spine from sitting all day, kidney issues because he only gulps down energy drinks and worst of all - his "online" girlfriend is supposedly a family relative.
Maybe if I never bought him video games when he was a teen, things would've been better for our family.

I can generally admit that all your children have a possibility of growing up like my boy - addicted to microtransactions, cancerous multiplayer games that make them lose control over their emotions.

Tldr: I regret having a child and buying him his first vidya game at an early age. Pray for him that he finishes his university major so he can finally buy me video games too...

Now I must forgive my son, because we all make stupid decisions... should've worn protection that night but I'll let it slide.
