Lost email attached to main account

hello, my old hard drive was damaged and i got an s.s.d and restarted my pc from scratch, when i signed into my account it made me go through the new pc verification. but i do not have access to the email i had attached( it was my brothers but i bought most of my games on it) because of this i cant get anywhere in trying to sign in...
also steam is awfull for support as i cant get anywhere and cannot figure out how to send a ticket

go to steam website and use the forgot password option at the login screen and one of the options should be that you dont have that email address anymore.

there is no option anywhere as far as i can tell, that asks about you not having access to email

and can you not fill out tickets anymore? i would like to just ask directly but it seems impossible to do

Use the old hard drive one last time to extract the steam folder, and put it on ssd,
or start it once to change the email from within the client.

Can he/you do the 'I Forgot my Password' on the email account and start from there. Sounds like a problem with the email account and not with Steam.

no it goes to an old phone number as the backup that he does not have anymore
