REPORTING OF PUBG CHEATERS FALLS ON DEAF EARS
no point using the inadequate reporting feature within pubg as nothing happens i have been told by pubg corp that if i suspect cheating it is up to me to take video or screenshots and send to them which proves the cheating is welcomed by them and steam who are amassing huge profits from cheaters if they do happen to get banned they get another sale of the game the word is 1m accounts banned times that by $25 us and $25,000,000 us is a nice payday for them in comparison to the couple mill on the battleye crap but the cheaters are getting back in thats my point they have made themselves in a spot where they actually profit from banning cheaters and letting them back in and rebuying the game

In my opinion it is not up to the Devs to Morally handle cheaters, from a Buisness/PR sense, sure, it would be in their best interest to handle it. But it is the communities problem, because people in our community are cheating.

Best way I can see of getting what we want, as far as handling cheaters, is that people that dont cheat, just stop playing the game, boycott it until it is fixed. easy.

The next best thing is to report every case. Supply evidence and so on.

steam is a reseller therefore that makes them connected
That's not how it works.

You mean to tell me the guy that sold me a gun isnt responsible for how I handle my weapon? /s
there is no point boycotting at this stage as they already have our money a worldwide recall is what should be issued at this point due to the unprecedented amount of cheating is whats needed then they will think twice before allowing this crap to continue as a reseller steam should be treated the same as every other authorised reseller in the market place and be held accountable the item we paid for is not in the condition as described because of all the cheating
No point?Bluehole having someone's money and perpetuating a system you disagree with are two different things.

If you think that steam should be held accountable, then you are just another snowflake in a blizzard of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It is the blaming the gun sales man for a crime committed by someone he sold a gun to, or arresting a car salesman for selling a car to someone that ran another person over. Its just not a thing.

If you bought a car, and decide that the car is made cheaply, you would naturally not buy from that company again, and you would tell others that this car is crap, leading others to probably not buy that car. You are essentially boycotting the product. They have your money, but your future choices make a difference.

Same goes with video games.

They already have your money; however, if you stopped playing it because of cheaters you are making the choice to boycott the game.

I rarely play the game anymore because it is getting dull... Winning just isnt super satisfying and encountering cheaters makes it less enjoyable.

If like minded people like me just stopped, the numbers will drop, cheaters will become more saturated in the game. More non-cheating people will encounter more cheaters, then they will stop playing, until most people that play, will be cheaters. Bluehole will have to make a choice, their game that they worked so hard to become an esport will diminish, losing sponsors. Losing sponsers = losing money.

In a buinsess sense, then they will take hard action. soaking their current resources into the game to fix it, hoping to get a return.

edit-- you have 105 hours in the game. You have paid 28.5 cents an hour to play...

I have spent 6.3 cents an hour playing this game.

To think you are owed a refund for the time you have put into this game, well, you are crazy.

To tell me that you have not enjoyed this game at all, would be a bold face lie.

how many hours did volks wagen drivers drive their car for? how much enjoyment did they think they were having when they thought they were making the green choice? how much did the resellers have to refund them at the behest of the government powers ? the answer to the last one is 100% refund

No one was lied to. You cannot anticpate the amount of cheaters. People can cheat in every single game ever made. If it is multiplayer, then the chances are higher that a cheater will be present, if it is a game where money can be made then that statistic go up.

The game itself is not broken. It is not the devs fault that people want to cheat in this game, for that you can blame our community.

What you are asking for is insane. You cannot give a real valid reason as to why it is PURELY blueholes fault that people cheat in this game.

Imagine you are a teacher. You are administrating a mandatory (a test that HAS to be taken) test. at one table, you have two students. One is taking the test and the other is cheating. you take away the students test, and give him another test, because he has to take it. He continues to cheat. No matter where you move him, he cheats.

By your logic, it is the teachers fault he is cheating. There is only so many things you can do to prevent cheating. it is an on going battle and it is always uphill for game developers.

You car emissions example is not very good in comparison to this situation.

No man's sky is a better example. A game that had false promises that once discovered steam issued a full refund to anyone who wanted it.

This is a game riddled with cheaters because cheaters what to cheat in this game. Not because bluehole wants them to cheat. there is more money to be made if cheaters do not constantly re buy the game and as a buinsess they are fully aware of that.

Look at games like league of legends. They make a ♥♥♥♥ load of money, people cheat in that game and people get their accounts banned. People make new accounts and buy their champions and cheat again. it is a cycle. an unavoidable cycle for any popular game.

However a game like league has a great ROI (return on investment) Free to play game, makes money on micro transactions, has an esport that promotes the game and has others who watch want to play, sponsors that pay to have their product used etc etc.

If a winning team of league makes 1 million dollars, you have to consider how much riot is getting.

a game like dota is a bad example as that is a crowd funded pot the winners take home.

i can think of 25 million dollars they make straight away you pleb
Or they can make 100 million dollars in events, another 50 million in sponsors, another 10 million in sales because people watch the esport.

ROI > money they make straight away.

edit--

pleb.

If you type pubg hack in google you get websites that sell them. That's what they should be fighting with. You take out those website or a majority of the big ones less cheaters will be around.
