This card number is not valid for the payment method you selected.
I get this error when trying to add a payment method

but if i have to ask, are you using a savings card (with the number on the card standing out)? also is it something like a visa or mastercard?

Here is the start of the page, go purchases, i cant complete purchase on steam store, games or software then you can go from there. steam support can take some time but at least you will be able to be assisted

I is master debit card
not to sure if you can make online purchase with debit card's. i know my personal bank you have to go through all kind of loops to get debit card to work for online shopping, much easier to use credit card or cheque
