Will I lose my game progress?
Hello. I'll buy a new laptop and I'm worried if ill I lose my team fortress 2's progress. It doesn't have steam cloud. Will I lose my progress and item that I bought in tf2?

Nah TF2 items and such are tied to your steam account not the game files itself.

The only thing you'll lose are any custom models and textures as well as any maps you've downloaded.

Settings too, probably.

If you want to transfer a game progress save between systems where games don't support Steam cloud, then you will need a thumb drive and Game save Manager.

Its highly configurable, automated and supports major cloud accounts. I.e. use your google drive to work alongside the program to have a nice back up regularly.
