Any good Story Rich FPS games?

Ive recently been looking for any good games that have come out semi-recently but thats not entirely important. The game needs to be FPS, story rich, no monsters, or crazy things that wouldn't happen in real life. I love post apocoliptic games but a lot of the fps games have monster-horror aspects that I just dont like. I'd like more of a thriller with no grind. Imagine COD modern warfare, or something like Metro 2033 Redux without the monsters or anything. I'd love any suggestions. Thanks!

P.S. I'm trying wolfenstein right now so no need to suggest that.

The Far Cry series possibly? It's more or less story driven and it is an FPS that doesnt have monsters and such in it. Of course some scenarios are a bit over the top but I dont think you can find a video game without that.

I do have far cry 4 and 5 and love them. Even so, I'm looking for more of a linear story and less open world.

I personally liked the bf4 and bf hardline stories. Especially the bf hardline. Just look it up on youtube see if you like it.

the whole mw series, also black ops 1 &2, BO3 has a deep story as far as i know but has nothing to do with the previous CoDs. Far Cry 1 ( although it has monsers from the middle of the game ) Far Cry 2 is probaly one of the sickest FPS exeriences i ever had although not really story rich. If you like cartoony games tahn Serious sam 2 its pretty fun

The Halo Franchise is story-rich.

You must try Halo 2.

I got bf3 on my Xbox a while ago and I never finished it because it felt really clunky especially with a controller. I played hardline. Okay story. I may try out bf4. Thanks

I played most of the halos. Plus it has aliens and stuff which I’m not looking for.

I’m really looking for games that came out semi recently. Like 2016 at the oldest unless it has fantastic graphics.
