FiveM is a Virus, Beware!
I was downloading a server from FiveM, and then suddenly, my antivirus "Bitdefender" which is the best antivirus in the market, has detected a Ransomware, it was going to encrypt all of my files, but bitdefender had blocked it.
So imagine, without an antivirus I was going to loose all of my data.
imagine someone downloaded that server without having an antivirus, and then the ransomware encrypts all of his data.
If FiveM was a good app, it should scan each server for viruses before being published by the creator.
I am not saying all servers have a virus, but be very careful while downloading servers, dont download them from any unknown publisher.
I think that each 5 servers that you will download, one of them is going to contain a computer virus.
For example this a few examples of FiveM servers that contains a virus:
1. Elite Roleplay, it was going to encrypt all of my data by a ransomware.
2. Angry Airplanes, it is going to install a spyware to your computer, and steels all of the information that you put such as passwords.

Post in the forums for said games.

Then maybe you should download the mod from the official website:
https://fivem.net/

Not some shady unofficial websites offering downloads for that tool.
wow you are so smart
some people shouldn't be allowed to use computers....or post on forums about things that have zero clue about.

I have evidence and a clue, Bitdefender the Antivirus have detected a Ransomware and gave me a notification that a ransomware have been detected
the ransomware encrypted my files, and than my antivirus decrypted them.
so I have an evidence

In a nicer sort of way, what they meant was, it's quite obvious that something like that would be a virus. You should be more careful! Yes, you may have the best antivirus software or something, but you should have known that was a bad decision, most likely.
What if Bitdefender is the real virus :)
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
