Looking for space ship / base building games

Hi I am looking for a good game that allows me to build my own space ship with lots of custom features, such as Starmade and Empyrion galactic. Thanks ;)

Space engineers for sure. One of my fav games. Time consuming but you can build anything you want. Someone built a kangaroo mech out of pistons

Osiris: New dawn is a newer game in it's early stages. Tons of bugs and poorly optimized, but fun

I don't know these genres. I would had suggested Kerbal space program but there I don't think one do much with the ship otherwise except building different ships and launching them.

I have multiple copies of Space engineers from the survive this bundle with Rust also if that's of any interest. Personally I don't have Kerbal space program but I've seen some YouTube videos of it and those looks fun. Not sure how much fun I'd have myself with it though :). Some stuff are more fun to watch on :)
