I have seen people open a small search box in the corner of the screen in guides I was wondering what keyboard shortcut that would be on mac

It's the find command, Ctrl+F on win and I think it's Command+F on Mac

np, just so you know, it's not a Steam specific command and can be used to locate text in many apps.
