how to know if somebody block me?

i dont really add people on steam but today i tried adding someone the first time it give a friend request sent.. they will check when they come online message but the second time it give a Error adding friend. Please try again. message. does that mean that person block me and i cant add that person anymore?

if you cant add them then they blocked you

"Error adding friend. This user has blocked you." will appear when you're trying to add someone that has blocked you for whatever reason.

i never see This user has blocked you message its Error adding friend something if they changed it idk.

Also besides the error message when adding, if the person has screenshots/artworks/content, you can click on any of that and see if you can comment, if you can't you are blocked.

Same for if they put their tradelink on their profile or you are friends with them and can send trade directly, in trade window it will give error if they blocked you.
