Steam Avatar

Now wouldn't that be nice, if steam allowed you to make an avatar character such as the like in the game Defience and be able to choose to use it while playing a game like left4dead. So instead of seeing say Frances play it would be your own unique created-crafted-virtual character that all others can see too because it was downloaded in the lobby. It would be saved in the steam cloud and be able to be used in other mutiplayer games. Of course only Valve games would be compatible to start with. Would a day like that ever come?

As in, what the hell do you mean by this. I mean, you can create your own steam avatar, you know, your profile avatar.

Steam and to many 1000's of games would all need to adjust their graphics to accomodate the Steam avatar. Steam itself would need to masively upgrade their graphics for complete character avatars for these avatars would need to be drawn in 3D. Many games would need to upgrade their graphics which means they can't be played anymore on low-end machines from Ppl who barely manage to scrape a few buck together for their rig. Other games would need to lower their standards what would annoy the Ppl who can afford high end machines. All would need to use the same set of inter-compattible source code. Not gonna happen any time soon.

Make one on a paint app or some other art type app save the document then upload it to steam through your computer files
