Steam game won't launch (Playerunknown's Battlegrounds)
Hey everyone. I've had this error for a while now...Whenever I click play on PUBG it says "starting", but then disappears and nothing happens. I've gone into the game files and ran it as administrator, and then it gives me the error of, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application". I also tried running a compatibility troubleshoot on my game file (TslGame is the file) and then that says, "Incompatible Program Detected". I've been trying to fix it for 5 days so I've done everything like Verifying Game Cache and restarting pc, and I've even reset my pc and it still doesn't work. If anyone has a fix please help meh.

This game only supports Windows.

Thank u, I'll check out the links. I was just about to check if maybe my .NET Framework was updated because that could be the issue.

So I just got back from doing some stuff and just finished doing all the video tutorials but it still says "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000007b). I think it might have to do with my Microsoft redistributable packages but idk... Specifically vc_redist 2015 keeps saying "Unspecified error (0x80240017)" while trying to install. I've already researched it and did some of the tutorials but none of em worked :octodad:

But honestly I think its unfixable til' I get a new PC because I've tried just about everything

Just so everybody knows I fixed this about a week ago. In case you are looking for the solution, try uninstalling your Microsoft redistributable package 2015. Once uninstalled, restart your computer. Then, when your computer starts back up, reinstall the packages.
