el core i7 extreme edition, es el mas potente por el momento, pero con una core i7 normal te rendira mucho; tienes que ver que numeracion le queda a la placa base, no todos los socket le quedan a las diferentes versiones, :Tom: :spycon: :catmug:

(micron) , segunda Cores ,tercera MHZ , de hay te fijas , mas potente en resumen Xeon E3-1290 v2 (2,200$ ), mas potente de core!7 Core i7-2700K es resumen .,.,.

el xenon es para servidores y de grandes empresas, :osher:
edito: es como meterle uranio o plutonio a un generador de viento; ese procesador se puede fusionar con otro del mismo, dos xenon de 8 nucleos, serian 16 nucleos, pero en si, la tarjeta madre que lo soporte cuestan entre 1500 a 3000 dolares, mas el procesador, sin grafica, mucho musculo matematico, pero poca grafica para juegos.
