Gmod Stuck at Loading Screen (Mac)

Okay, this is frustrating. Ever since Gmod 13 came out, Gmod gets stuck on the blue loading screen, and a spinning rainbow ball appears!

I just find it strange how Gmod 13 is stuck on the loading screen, but Gmod 12 ran just fine.
