Currently I have one game in a Wineskin Wrapper: the invite only beta for Spy-Party. I can report based on my experiences trying to make it to run other games.
It runs certain games just fine, no hitches, or flaws, but occasionally the game does not launch, and either you have to go in and edit the WINE engine, or build a new wrapper.
On quite a lot of games, especially high intensity games (read: any modern AAA release), it will either:
A. Not work, due to engines not supported by WINE
B. Run poorly, due to WINE not being made for that game.
If you are looking for safe bets for mac games, use Steam, GamersGate, the Mac App Store, or each Humble Bundle. The majority of those games sold on those services are native ports, meaning that they will work 100% fine. However: some games are ported by companies that just make a WINE wrapper.
WINE is good, for some things, but it has ages to go to be acceptable for gaming.
More like games from 2009 or 2008 like ARMA 2 or Star Trek Online
