Games crash with 9600M GT on Mountain Lion
Hello,
i have a little problem. When i launch Portal or Counter Strike Source, hl2_OSX always crash when i'm using the Nvidia 9600M GT (Mountain Lion 10.8.2)
I don't have this problem with the 9400M.
Have you got a solution ?

hmmmm. im also using mountin lion and i dont have the problem.... so i dont know whats going on....

Im on 10.8.2 and using a 9600mGT(512mb) and Source Games run fine.
"surogat" link should fix Portal 2 but CS:S should be working

For CS:S go to
User/Library/Application Support/Steam
And delete the following file:
ClientRegistry.blob

Thanks but it doesn't work for me.
I'll read the link and try to resolve my problem.
I found a tips but i'm not sure it works. I launch games with the 9400M and when i'm on the menu i come back to OSX and change the GPU. It doesn't crash but i'm sure it's changing something in the game.

I found the solution !
Before i was using GFX card status to change the video card (from 9400M to 9600GT) without rebooting the session. I try to change the video card in the system preferences panel and after a reboot session it works !!!
