Shift+Tab wont work?!?! D:

Are you on mac?
if so go into system preferences and check your keyboard settings

Its too by me its so wird i play team fortress 2 and when i want to trade it not opens...

The option you have to check in System Preferences is under "Accessibility". Make sure that Enable Access for Assistive Devices is checked.

It is also possible that the game you are playing disables the Steam Overlay. In that case your best bet would be to Cmd+Tab and do what you need to in Steam itself.

Cmd means the Apple button. Since this is a Steam for Mac forum I'm assuming you are using an apple keyboard. If you happen to be using a windows-based keyboard then the Cmd button is the Windows button I believe.

when you are on steam go to the top bar and click steam then preferences. then go to the in-game tab and go down to where it says "press shortcut key" then click on the box and press shift tab. this should fix it and when your in game it will work

A time ago when it not worked i just touched my windows button ( windows 7 ) and get back to my game , then shift + tab worked .

I have a mac, and it works for me, but not in Terraria and Undertale. But it works in all my other games-CSGO,Broforce,Who's Your Daddy, and random s.hit like that m9
