System Shock 2 - One Buttone Mouse - how to use / right click inventory items

I've just started playing the game on my macbook pro and I can't figure out how to use the various syringes and chips and cola cans etc. These items require that I right click on them in the inventory, but unfortunately the game doesn't seem to recognize command + click as "right click." This double button "command + click" is the normal way to right click when using my laptop... I've also tried using the button I've assigned to "use item" but this doesn't work on the inventory screen. What should I do? I travel with my computer and an external mouse isn't practical for me.

If you click the mouse using two fingers it acts as a right click iirc.

Widow Engie already helped you out, but my advice is to buy a regular OSX compatible mouse for gaming (or a gaming mouse if you feel super fancy :P there are really cool ones out there)

In the long run having a normal 2 button+scroll mouse will make your gaming experience much more enjoyable since PC games are design with that mouse in mind, just my 2 cents
